Burnham hosts a variety of lectures, seminars and symposia for the scientific community. Some, such as the President's Lecture Series, draw preeminant scientists from around the country and the world. Others, such as the Southern California Stem Cell Consortium Monthly Meeting and the Diabetes and Obesity Research Center - Seminar Series, allow local scientists to meet and collaborate on topics of common interest. In addition, other seminars and symposia take place at Burnham on a regular basis.
