ROT:  All centricons are labeled with the name of the protein and re-used only for the same protein.

• Depending on the size of your protein select the appropriate centricon tube
• Spin in the Beckman Allegra centrifuge @ 4000rpm for 20min (at 4oC)
• Label the lower part of the centricon with the name of the protein and discard the excess liquid
• Attach an adapter to the upper part to collect the protein, place in a falcon tube
• Spin again @1000rpm for 1min
• Pool the sample with the original sample
• Keep on ice.
